WCU is owned by the husband and wife team of Peter and Dorothy. For those of you who know and have interacted with Peter and Dorothy, you’ll know that the business reflects their values in every sense of the word. When starting out Peter having finished his apprenticeship and spending 8 years working for others he decided to start out on his own. He left to start Waikumete Car Upholstery with just 1 weeks’ worth of jobs on hand that was 50 years ago and now the second generation is coming through ready to continue the tradition of this family owned business.
